Hi all,

I though long and hard about what would be the best way to show you all great selection of lingerie available at Queeni-B Boutique so that you could get a proper feel of how it fits and moves with the body, and of course how utterly pin-up cute it all is! And here is the result, the Hula Lula Vintage Pin-up Peep show starring Olivia Orchid in all her hula glory showing the lingerie in action. The lingerie featured includes lots of vintage inspired bras, panties and pasties by BannBee, the Queen of Hearts Bra and Panties set by Bunnies Forever and a couple of pieces of cherry-picked vintage. Olivia (or Lula) also wear some really cute 1940s style hats by Rosielee Clothing. I’d like to thank everyone involved, the editor Roshan Moliko and Olivia for shaking her thing! As for everyone else, I’d love to hear what you think of the goodies.

We had a grand time on Saturday delving into all the handmade and vintage inspired clothing and accessories at the Bust Holiday Craftacular at York Hall in Bethnal Green. On arrival we got goody bags stuffed with pretty flyers,  handmade jewellery a cute sewing kit and a free copy Bust magazine. We bumped into a few of our friends including Rosa of Rosielee Clothing who was dishing out our flyers whilst selling her beautiful 40’s style hats, handcrafted jewellery designer Bbel and creator of the most beautiful floral accessories A. Alicia . We also found a whole bunch of new designers with lovely goodies from dresses, retro lingerie and handmade recycled stationery, we have already booked meetings with some of them with the intention of snapping up their goodies for Queeni-B Boutique.
Meanwhile, across the pond Evette Rios visited the Los Angeles Craftacular on the same day in the US where among other things she met with Bust’s Susan Juvet to the scoop in why Craftacular first began.

If like me, you love 1940’s fashion you’ll love the 40’s photo spread which is in this weeks Fabulous magazine. I am biased of course because some of our lovely goodies are in the shoot! The Fabulous ‘Fashion Sirens’ editorial shoot styled by fashion director Tracey Lea Sayer celebrates ’40s figure-hugging dresses and nipped-in waists and features our 1940’s Inspired Military Hat and 1940’s Inspired Circular Hat With Bows by Rosielee Clothing worn with an amazing 40’s coiffured fringe. We Love it!

We grace the glossy screen of Alt Fashion once again.
